A few weeks ago I got together with Ron Whytock and offered their assistance with the administration of the Flash Info project. I urged Ron to transfer the project over to the the social media platform as it had proven very successful for Medicare EMR. Little did we know that this would forever change the Franschhoek landscape.
A few days later as we (me and Garth) were returning from Astral Africa I saw a post on the FlashInfo Facebook page regarding a fire in Franschhoek. What started as a simple curious question resulted in a week of chaos to say the least but most importantly: a spontaneous amalgamation of good will and fellowship.
The ball has finally started rolling towards Medicare EMR’s ultimate goal: to unite the community and uplift each other and improve the lives of everyone here in Franschhoek.
I am very proud of each and every one of the Medicare team who voluntarily gave up their time, energy and sleep to make this possible. You have proven that when called upon you are all willing to go the extra mile without even a glimmer of hesitation.
And to Kurt: sorry you missed out on all the fun. I hope it was worth it though and that you pass your ILS course with flying colours.
Regards
Monika
