We trust that you are well and find this letter in good faith.

Due to rising costs, increased overheads in regards to the upgrading of our services and and for us to remain compliant with Legislation recently passed in the form of the Western Cape Ambulance Act of 2010 as well as the National Ambulance Act (currently in final draft), we have been forced to increase our membership fees so we can continue providing you and the Franschhoek community with the quality service you are used to.

These upgrades include the hiring of additional staff, the purchasing of a new response vehicle, mandatory licence fees as well as infrastructure upgrades to our base of operations. All of these come with additional general overhead costs being compounded by the rise in petrol and other utilities.

In the last 8 years we have only increased our membership fees once before in 2012. We have tried to remain as affordable as possible to remain inclusive to the greater community. This increase can no longer be avoided.

The new pricing will come into effect on the 1st of April 2015 for all new members. Our existing monthly subscribed members will only be affected from the 1st of May 2015. Annual, Bi-Annual and Quarterly payment members will only be affected on the next occurring billing cycle.
